Fashion designer Naomi McGregor launched today her clothing label Nali by Naomi McGregor with a fashion show in Tampa. Her Spring/Summer 2012 Collection caters to the everyday woman as it was seen on the runway by the diversity of her models.

Naomi complemented her beautiful designs with shoes from Rush BT in the Brandon Mall and the collection was styled by fashion stylist Toya Styles. The models hair was done by the hair team of Philly Finest Hair Salon in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Her collection was tittled “The Yvette Collection” and was dedicated and inspired by her grandmother Yvette. It included bright Caribbean colors and clean lines with a 50’s retro style.
Born of Jamaican descent, Naomi grew up watching her mother and grandmother spend late nights sewing clothes for her and her five younger siblings.
Inspired by the tropical island of Jamaica, Naomi used colorful but easy to wear fabrics like Cotton and Linen for some of her dresses.
For more information on Naomi McGregor and her Nali Clothing Line visit her website at http://www.nali-design.com/.
The Curvy Fashion Exchange was a a proud sponsor of this event.Take a look at some of the pictures from the show below:
